The story of how passion for education became a nurturing home for children in Laredo, Texas.
A Journey Built on Love for Education
My name is Mrs. Orozco, and I began my career in Childhood Education in 2013 and as an educational tutor in 2019. The services provided to my students covered support in content areas such as reading, math, and other content areas. My tutoring services were offered on a one to one basis and accommodations were made depending on each child's educational needs.
In 2020 I was fortunate to receive a greater number of scholars into my tutoring services which allowed me to open my first school, T & A Tutoring.
Throughout the summer of 2021 I decided to develop a series of different summer camps to prepare children for elementary school exposure. Gratefully, these services were beneficial to many, and I saw a substantial increase in students with the need for such services. Therefore, I began my journey of development of what is now The Learning Space Academy.
This educational academy was made with the purpose to provide the help to more families that are involved in helping their children develop a strong educational foundation.

At The Learning Space Academy our mission is to educate children with values, love, and respect. We offer each and every one of our students an educational environment that provides nurture and safety. From their toddler years to their preschool age years.
Philosophy
At The Learning Space Academy, we provide an environment that is safe, clean, healthy, and child friendly. Classrooms are arranged to offer small groups to provide the support needed according to each child's educational needs. We are accustomed to offering each student the opportunity to explore, to experience and most importantly to succeed!
Vision
Our vision is to make The Learning Space Academy locations expand through the state of Texas. This will give other families around the state of Texas the opportunity to experience the nurturing and engaging academic environment here at TLSA.
